Veronica McBeth joined Kittelson & Associates after a combined 14 years in the public sector, serving on Capitol Hill, at the Maryland Department of Transportation, at the Maryland Transit Administration, and with the City of Baltimore. In her position as transit bureau chief of the Baltimore City Department of Transportation, Veronica oversaw an annual budget of more than $20 million and supervised the city’s public information and engagement practice, bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure program, Charm City Circulator operations, and water taxi system. In addition, Veronica led the launch of Baltimore’s bike share program, currently the largest pedal electric assist bike share system in North America. Veronica recently completed her Master of Science in Law (MSL) degree in environmental law, bringing unique insight into land use planning and the NEPA process as applied to transportation and its potential to positively affect communities and the economic opportunities available to them. When she’s not working, Veronica enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her two children.
