Is Electrification Enough?

Transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the US, and is also a considerable source of other local pollutants. Mitigating these emissions is critical to maintaining a livable future, and a variety of approaches are necessary to curb emissions. This session will consider how a mix of near- and long-term strategies including electrification, mode shift, and syncing transportation and land use planning are all critical elements to achieving emissions reductions.
